How to beat a Nigerian Scam Artist #1

We have all see the emails from our friends in Nigeria trying to extract money from our bank accounts. For the average Joe it's an easy exercise to get rid of them. But if like me your quite disturbed when you get an email requesting funds for a disaster like the earthquake in Haiti you just want to give the scammer something to think about.

Below is our first win:
Name (false most likely): Nicholas Okorie
His method; essentially he falsely stated he was collecting funds for the Haiti disaster.
How; via some fabricated charitable entity
Why; for his own greedy self
What did he want; $4000USD dollars sent via money exchange.

What did we do;
Essentially we developed a character that was religious and was part of a fake group called the Holy Church of The Tattooed Saint.
Our character after the first couple of emails committed to sending some funds for the earthquake but stated that as part of his religion could only work with members of his church.
So we requested that if he would like some funding he would need to be inducted into our church.

So, to be inducted into our church, you must agree to the following:

1. Agree to have a tattoo showing the mark and name of Saint Bartholomew Shiver. This can be placed on any part of your body.
2. Provide photographic proof of the tattoo mark.
3. Agree to use any donations sent to you for the good of your fellow men & women.

We sent him an email with some photos of the tattoo he need to get.
What did he do after he got the email, guess, yes he went ahead with the tattoo, yes!
This is the image we sent him as a base line for what the tattoo needed to look like.

This is what he sent back:

Nice one Nicolas looks good on you, LOL
After he sent these images and completed a phony induction form, we advised that we would be sending him $46,775 dollars as a donation.

Following Email sent to our friend:::

NAME;REV NICHOLAS OKORIE

OWERRI IMO STATE, NIGERIA

YOURS SINCERELY
REV NICHOLAS OKORIE

WELL AT THIS STAGE AND AFTER A LOT OF EMAILS WE ACHIEVED OUR OBJECTIVE AND ADVISED OUR FRIEND THAT THE ACCOUNT WAS POSTED FRAUDULENT BY THE POLICE AND NO FURTHER FUNDS WOULD BE TRANSFERRED.
THIS WAS HIS FINAL EMAIL TO US:

Dear FatherHacket,
your revelation left me speechless, i have not collected any money so far, i swear with everyhting i hold sacraed, when did i collect this money was it when i was in the hospital or when,? in nigeria there are a lot of dubious people, may be someone must have hacked into my box, that was the same reason i changed my email address because of hackers.
if i have collected any money then why do i sound so bitter in my mails. Father, i still profess my innocence, i never i repeat collected any money,i swear. if in my previous mails i have sounded rude is due to the stress i went through i pray u dont hold that against me,am very sorry, the money is not the issue now even though i need the money to start a charity organization and some destitute which i have promised some money who are still waitting for me to fufill my promise, the issue at stake now is my intergrity.
for the fact there a lot of untrust worthy people roaming about i think we can still find few people who are decent. i did not want to become your member because of greed ,is borne out of genuie interest.for mankind. Genuine interest for a bucketful of cash more likely.
thank you father, istill await your reply ,and i pray after thinking and pondering over the issue ,you will give me a favourable answer this time around God blessyou

YoursSincerely
Rev Nicholas Okorie
